I'm Karon, matron of the Gables. I have a very friendly bunch of very professional
staff, and we would like to welcome you to the best appointed care home for
the elderly in the Great Yarmouth area.
The
Gables is situated in a prime position on the cliff tops of Gorleston, overlooking
the sea and harbour with extensive gardens, a patio area, and an enclosed rear
garden with ample seating. Just across the road from the upper promenade which
boasts splendid gardens and tennis courts there are plenty of opportunities
for relaxing walks etc.
We have largely
single rooms, which mostly overlook the sea and promenade. With lots of fine
detail in this old Victorian mansion, along withmany lounge and eating areas,
and the previously mentioned gardens the Gables makes a very comfortable home.
We have a good reputation in the local community for providing very high standards
of care lovingly and with tenderness, and our summer fete is famous also!
